Bradburn Project Details

Bradburn Village is a neighborhood rooted in the contemporary principles of smart growth, but with distinctly traditional community elements, such as a Main Street-style commercial core. Located in Westminster, Colorado, half way between Denver and Boulder, this $220 million, 125-acre mixed-use development has four distinct neighborhoods, nine parks, two recreation centers and access to 45 miles of open space trails.
The development was designed by the renowned planning firm Duany Plater-Zyberk & Co. and features more than 750 residential units including townhomes, live/work units and row house apartments, all within a short walk of Bradburn’s village core with 100,000 square feet of shops, restaurants, offices and a newly opened Whole Foods Market.
All of Bradburn Village’s residences are within a short walk of the village’s commercial core, which includes two day care centers and a newly built Adams County Charter school serving middle and high school students.
The homes in Bradburn realize significant premiums over the more conventional subdivisions in the surrounding area. The efficient use of land, including a village green, parks, formal gardens, playgrounds, sports fields, event center and even an apple orchard, are other features of the community, making Bradburn Village a perfect model for smart growth.
